The Children’s Garden Company offers gardening workshops for children aged 5 to 11 every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. from May through October.
Each week your child will plant, harvest and eat fresh organic fruits and vegetables from the garden. Along the way kids will learn a little bit more about where their food comes from and, hopefully, feel a closer connection to nature.
We are located on an historic five acre farm just minutes from the downtown Sonoma Plaza, surrounded by a walnut grove and grapevines and marked by olive trees, a charming farmhouse, water tower and barns. Then there’s the garden - 10,000 square feet with 13 raised beds, a Morning Glory tepee, berry trellises, a pumpkin and melon patch and a fruit tree orchard. Our beehives not only pollinate the garden, but provide oodles of yummy honey!
WEEKLY SESSION: $45.00 including lunch. Book early as we are limited to just 6 children per week. Reserve all 6 spots and make it a Birthday Party!
